CME launches online 3D VOD

Central European Media Enterprises (CME) is to start showing online 3D content in the Czech Republic through its Voyo.cz video on demand service.

Shows such as Rose Garden Medical and The Street, along with the US horror movie Piranhas, will be broadcast in analogue 3D, which will require the use of red and blue film glasses.

These will easily be available through TV Nova’s partner Mall.cz, the largest online supplier of electronics in the Czech Republic.

Voyo.cz was launched in the Czech Republic in January and will be rolled out in CME’s five other markets in the CEE region in the coming months.
