Extreme 3D reaching new heights soon

The Alexander and Thomas Huber brothers are among the best rock climbers worldwide and they are the stars of “Die Huberbuam”, a 3D documentary shot for ZDF (Germany) with Alaric Hamacher and his team at Virtual Experience supervising the 3D. …

The new superlight Freesytle P+S Technik rig was used  by climber-cameramen Franz Hinterbrandner and Max Reichel. Visit the movie web site or have a look at the 3D Trailer on YouTube.

Steadicam, cranes, some GoPRO 3D and a new “octocopter” from Flug-Linse holding two miniature Sinacam  (YouTube 3D flight test) (YouTube 2D making of) were also used to shot stereoscopic sequences.
