On Saturday, October 1, 2011, PassmoreLab will be premiering a restored, colorized and newly 3D converted version of Ed Woodʼs 1958 sci-fi classic Plan 9 From Outer Space at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles as a part of the 7th Annual Johnny Ramone Tribute.

The new LG Thrill 3D smartphone was launched on on Sept 4 to compete with the HTC Evo 3D. Both products are currently being heavily advertised on broadcast TV. It appears that “glasses-free 3D” handheld devices are here to stay and will change the way 3D content is delivered to consumers.
