Samsung and AVAD Team Up for "I Can See That In 3D?!" Video Contest

AVAD LLC, a leading distributor of residential and commercial custom-installation products, has partnered with Samsung for the “I Can See That In 3D?!” video contest, beginning today and running through January 6, 2012. Contestants can submit a 60-second video and a 100-word or less description of why their video would look great in 3D atwww.awesomein3D.com. Everyone who submits a video or casts a vote for a winner has a chance to win one of over $15,000 worth of prizes.

“Many people don’t know that with a Samsung 3D TV, you can easily convert 2D content into 3D in real-time with the simple push of a button on your remote,” said Jim Annes, vice president and general manager at AVAD LLC. “What better way to help spread the word than to hold a video contest! The grand prize winner will get a complete 3D electronics package so they can watch their entry and any other conventional 2D content in amazing 3D in their own home.”

Contest Prizes:
For those who submit a video: 25 winners will be chosen at random, each of whom will win a Samsung ST65 14.2 Megapixel Compact Digital still camera valued at $129.99.

For those who vote: 15 winners will be chosen at random, each of whom will win a HTD5300 5.1 Channel Blu-ray Home Theater System valued at $349.99.

Contest Finalists: From the videos submitted, five finalists will be chosen, each of whom will receive a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 valued at $599.

Grand Prize Winner: 1 Grand Prize winner, chosen from the five finalists, will receive the following Samsung prize package valued at $3,800:

 

  • One Samsung 55-inch D8000 LED 3D TV with 2 pairs of rechargeable 3D glass
