The Shins bring new music video first to Nintendo 3DS

You can get another dimension from some of the hottest musical acts on the Nintendo 3DS.

New to the Nintendo Video application on the handheld game system is a 3D video of The Shin’s song “The Rifle’s Spiral” fromthe band’s latest album Port of Morrow.

The Nintendo 3DS has a 3D and 2D exclusive on the video this weekend. “Stop-motion in 3D has a special quality of bringing the subtle handmade details to the forefront, so we were so excited to have Nintendo premiere the video on Nintendo 3DS,” says the video’s director Jamie Caliri, who won an Emmy for the title design for the Showtime TV series United States of Tara.  …
