Two new Toshiba laptops designed for media creation and gaming were recently unveiled by the company. The Toshiba Satellite P700 series and the Qosmio X770 are the latest Toshiba laptops which offer 3D options, HD displays, NVIDIA discrete graphics, and price tags which start at around $630 for the Toshiba Satellite P700 series and $1,2000 for the Toshiba Qosmio X770.
The 17.3 inch displays of the two new Toshiba laptops are intended for big-screen video games and multi-media presentation. The displays are 1080p HD capable and have options for Blu-ray configuration.
The press release about the two new Toshiba laptops indicate that the Qosmio X770 will utilize the GeForce GTX560M graphics microprocessor of NVIDIA which has a 1.5GB graphics memory. The 3D Vision technology of NVIDIA is utilized on the 3D model of the Toshiba Qosmio X770 which can use a 3D TV for its video output.
The 3D model of the Toshiba Qosmio X770 utilizes a hybrid 1.25 TB hard drive along with a rewritable Blu-Ray. The price tag of the 3D version of these Toshiba laptops is at around $1,900. The 3D and non-3D version of these Toshiba laptops will reach the market within the month and user can choose to utilize the Core i5 or the Core i7 microprocessors of Intel. These Toshiba laptops can also have maximum of 8GB of RAM.
The Toshiba Satellite P700 series provides users with a selection of screen sizes along with a number of customization alternatives. The screens sizes of these Toshiba laptops range from 14 inches to 17.3 inches and feature the GeForce GT540M graphics of NVIDIA. These Toshiba laptops also come in three types of second generation microprocessors from Intel, the Core i3, the Core i5 and the Core i7.
The Toshiba Satellite P700 series also provide a number of multi-media features including an HDMI port, Kardon/Harman speakers, Blu-ray player and WiDi from Intel for link-ups with the WiDi enabled television. These Toshiba laptops have storage options of up to around 750 GB. These upcoming Toshiba laptops, which will reach the market by June 21, have a price range which start at $629 while the 3D versions have a price of around $1,200.
