American and Korean members of the International 3D Society have signed a memorandum of understanding pledging mutual cooperation on content production, marketing, distribution and information sharing among member companies in the two countries.
Execs and government officials expect the agreement to bolster Korea’s 3D industry. I3DS members in that country include Korea Telecom, the EBS educational broadcast network and satcaster Skylife. U.S. members include Sony, Disney and DreamWorks Animation.
The signing ceremony between the two nations’ I3DS chapters took place at DreamWorks Animation on Friday.
