CES: Samsung Announces New Line of Home Theater Systems

With CES just around the corner, Samsung has revealed their newest line of home theater systems, ranging from attractive 7.1 3D sound systems to a sound bar that can be converted into two sleek individual speakers.

Adding a 3D capable Blu-Ray player into the mix, Samsung’s HT-E5500W features a 5.1 channel system with virtual 7.1 surround sound capabilities by converting the sound to wireless rear speakers into two individual channels each. 3D sound technology is also in effect, adding vertical sound effects when viewing 3D content.

Lastly, the HW-E550 Surround Sound Bar delivers 2.1 audio with the help of a subwoofer, all of which is enhanced by 3D Depth Sound technology. If the single horizontal bar isn’t to your liking, the HW-E550 can split into two vertical speakers to complement your home audio system.
All three of Samsung’s new home theater systems will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show being held in Las Vegas next week.
