Mocomtech promotes new High Gain Screen

Korea-based Mocomtech is showing its new high gain Super Power screen that addresses traditional objections to “silver” screens. The company is touting it as a 3D solution for home theater.
Mocomtech claims the concave 20:1 gain screen retains more than 99% of high polarization. The curved surface helps scatter ambient light (as seen on the outdoor street sample) and a special surface of silicone coating and nano-level diffusion lines seems to reduce some of the historic looks of metallic screens and improves color fidelity. The nano diffusion also seems to allow a wider viewing area than expected for a high gain screen. Mocomtech claims that this nano level coating preserves six times higher polarization compared to traditional silver screens.
