The concept aims to combine films with an element of live performance and talks to give audiences something a bit extra.

Organisers are also hoping to provide some ‘live soundtracking’ at the event, where bands play along to around 15 to 20 minutes of big-screen visuals.

Mr Roberts said: “There’s a market for it, without a doubt, but I doubt it’s something people will want to see week after week. But if it’s done well, and spread out, I think people will come back again and again.”
