Senior Vice President Rick Dean to Discuss the 3D Viewing Experience and Certifying 3D Performance in the Home

THX Ltd. today announced Senior Vice President Rick Dean’s participation in Pacific University’s Vision Performance Institute’s Vision and 3D Conference, a conference that brings together representatives from industry, research and academia to present the current studies that will guide the future of 3D.

WHAT: • THX SVP and Chairman of the 3D@Home Consortium, Rick Deanwill join leading industry experts to discuss the interaction between the human visual system and the virtual 3D environment created by 3D displays.

At the conference Dean will be presenting on the topic of “Certifying 3D Performance in the Home”.

WHO: • Rick Dean, SVP of THX and Chairman of the 3D@Home Consortium, joins this conference with other industry leaders from top vision research universities, experts from Intel and Microsoft, optometrists and others.
