After winning a CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Award for their 3D sound technology, Sonic Emotion has announced the major success of their 3D iPhone application.
Zurich-based Sonic Emotion was one of the hits of the CES show in Las Vegas with its 3D sound solution known as “Absolute 3D”. At the same time, the company launched its new iPhone app, Headquake, at CES Live On Air with Spike TV, an MTV network. Headquake is the world’s premier sound enhancement app available that delivers an immersive “Absolute 3D listening experience on the go” from an easy plug and play action with one’s headphones. Since the launch of Headquake, more than 35,000 downloads have been registered.

The International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Award was for Sonic Emotion’s 3D audio chip solution – the SE- W58-II 3D sound processor for Embedded Technologies. The technology enables an enormous, yet, perfectly balanced 3D audio sound field by instantly enlarging the listening area to the entire room accentuated with outstanding clarity which allows for an amazing listener experience. Sonic Emotion Absolute 3D gives listeners an immersive 3D sound experience from a single device – regardless of their positioning in the room, device location and room dimensions – using any input format.
